As the dedicated designer at Anaconda for AI I got to design chatbots, conceptual prototypes and an add-on for Excel. I also incorporated AI into Anaconda's enterprise solutions.
AI laboratory / Conceptual prototype
This conceptual prototype set the vision for the AI product we wanted to build. A tool that allows users to download an open source AI model and use it with their private data securely on their local machine.

The conceptual prototype then served as the "future state" for our development efforts.
Features I designed in the concept became use cases for development:
- Onboarding with personalization
- AI Model discovery and download
- Automatic ability to chat with the model, locally and securely
Users get the ability to simply start using any model downloaded by chatting with it.
ANACONDA TOOLBOX ADD-ON FOR EXCEL
I designed the Anaconda Toolbox add-on for Microsoft Excel in the summer of 2023. The Toolbox appears as a sidebar along side of Excel and supports python in Excel.
I designed the sidebar add-on with:
- A data connector tool that manages imports and exports of data sets
- A visualization tool that helps people manage and deploy python visualizations
- Anaconda Assistant, the chat bot
